In short, no. Standard phosphate BCGs will hold lube better but not be as slick. Nitride is slicker but does not hold lube as well. NiB is much like Nitride but may flake or chip. Personally, I use phosphate and Nitride carriers and have no desire to spend more money for something that does the job equally as well.
